Hey DJs,
Since we receive tons of mixsets daily, there is a long build up of backlogs in our mixset posting queue but there is nothing much we can do as we do not want to flood the site with mixsets. But no matter how much work involved with the whole site, we still believe in supporting DJs.
We have getting a lot of complaints and enquiries from DJs about their mixsets and why is it not up yet. Answering these emails do add additional work on our end. But an idea was brought up to us to charge DJs who want their mixsets to pushed up ot the top of the waiting list. As i mentioned previously, if you send your mixset today, it will at least 3 weeks before it will appear on the site. So on our end, we thought bout it. We didn’t want to do it. But then doing all these takes up a lot of time. So why not? At the same time, we will also feature it on the sidebar. It means it will appear on almost every single page on the site!!!
But we know it’s a tough world out there, so we are still posting mixsets for FREE!
With 10-15 thousands visitors a day, putting your mixsets on dirrtyremixes will definitely get your name our there. We have gotten countless thank you emails from DJs and emerging ones. Some bedroom DJs now get booked for jobs and some are even on tour now. A few are signed by A&Rs who are lurking around to find the next big thing. And have you noticed remixers who have created bootlegs remixes getting the OFFICIAL remixes title tag to their work? So in a nutshell, dirrtyremixes has become a platform for DJs, upcoming DJs, and even remixers to advance their careers to the next stage.

p/s: to increase the page load of the site, we are removing soundcloud or any other 3rd party preview widgets on djmixset posts. But we will allow it for Featured Mixsets.
