DouGuim was born in Sao Paulo/Brazil but lives in London, where he started his DJ career after winning the KU Bar's DJ Competition 2010. In 2011, DouGuim won the award for Best New DJ in the BOYZ Magazine Awards and has played in some of the best clubs and venues in London including Lo Profile, Green Carnation, Barcode, London Gay Pride, The Coronet Theatre, Zebrano and many more as well as playing at The Week Club in his hometown Sao Paulo in Brazil. DouGuim always brings in his sets tracks with very happy and uplifting beats, playing the best of POP, Dance and House Music with influences from the scene in Europe as well as adding a British flavour but never forgetting his Brazilian roots.
